Approval in the individual case (ZIE)

The approval in the individual case is dealing with a specific building permission of building products and construction methods, for which there exist no building codes or a generally recognized state of art, in particular no DIN standards.

Normally textile membranes are not regultated building products. For this reason membrane constructions do not belong to the regulated construction methods as defined in the regional building code of Germany. The application forms for approval have to include the required technical and structural verifications.
